Echinacea Augustifolia Tincture

$15.00

2 oz. bottle

Latin name: Echinacea Augustifolia

E. augustifolia is superior to E. purpurea for topical application to wounds, bites, and stings. Echinacea aids the process of antibody formation and stimulates the production of white blood cells. It helps to strengthen and clear lymph nodes. It inhibits hyaluronidase (an enzyme produced by bacteria that breaks down compounds that bind cells together), thus inhibiting the spread of infection. Echinacea also helps the body fight viral infections. Echinacea is a wonderful herb to use topically for infections. It is often used to treat colds and flu, but is actually not the best herb for this purpose. Due to its popularity, echinacea is probably overused for many applications when other herbs would be just as effective.

Dosage: 1-5ml (0.2 – 1tsp) 3-6 times daily

Ingredients: Vodka, dried echinacea root
